Fire Sea Studios is currently in a state of pseudo-hibernation. For more details, see here.

Why are things so quiet around here?
As of October 2008, Fire Sea Studios is in a state of pseudo-hibernation. I am not creating new paintings, prints, or other products, updating the website or blog, nor am I accepting commissions.

However, if you want to buy an existing painting, or prints that I have in stock, contact me and we'll work something out.

This will allow me to deal with personal health issues that must be resolved before I can give Fire Sea Studios the attention it deserves. It is my hope that this situation will be temporary, but for the moment I can give no estimate as to when I will be fully open again.

Where can I see your work in person?
Horizon Temple (originals)
1423 10th Ave
Seattle, WA 98122

Do you do commissions?
I'll certainly consider it! Email me and let me know what you have in mind!

What's the process for ordering a print?
Email me! Most prints are $20 plus shipping and handling. I take payment primarily through PayPal but will discuss other methods as well. If I don't list a painting as having prints available, contact me; if I get enough interest, I'll start a print run on it.

I like [painting] and want to buy it. How does this work?
Original works will be listed in one of three ways: NFS (not for sale), For Sale, or For Sale through [gallery or 3rd party].

If it's listed NFS and you absolutely have your heart set on it, don't despair. It may be that the work is in reserve for an upcoming show, and will be for sale later.

If it's listed "For Sale", then email me for pricing and shipping information. (Most of my paintings range between $100 and $1000, depending on size.)

If it's listed "For Sale through [gallery or 3rd party]", then email me; I will direct you to that third party, and you may arrange purchase through them.

I like your website. Who designed it?
Why, thank you! I designed and wrote the site myself by hand (one of my previous incarnations was as a web developer).

Will you design my website?
Short form: no. I burned out on web work a while ago (there's a reason I'm no longer doing it professionally!) and it's generally all I can do to keep my own site up to date. However, if I already have a working relationship with you, I'll consider it on a project-by-project basis. You may also wish to contact my husband's company, Apolo Productions, which does many forms of web development and consultation.
